What is a Stream ID?

Your Stream ID is the code that you will use to tell your iPad what page on www.sportscopelive.com to broadcast your stream. 

Your school may have several Stream ID's for streaming different sports. If this is the case then your school will have multiple unique web pages on www.sportscopelive.com for each sport that you could potentially stream for.

For example, let's say North High School has chosen to stream video for their football, volleyball, and soccer teams:

• Therefore Sport Scope would provide North High School with 3 Stream ID's, one for each sport
• Sport Scope also would create three unique webpages on www.sportscopelive.com for:
  • North High School Football
  • North High School Volleyball
  • North High School Soccer
• When you enter the Stream ID for volleyball on the iPad Sport Scope Live app, this tells the broadcast to send the video stream to the North High School Volleyball webpage on www.sportscopelive.com
• This webpage will have a unique URL that never changes. This is great for sharing the link with your viewers, parents, students, fans, etc. They can bookmark the link and return to it whenever their is a volleyball stream.
