Check 1. Check the Cameras Page
To be sure that your camera status is actually Not Connected, go to the Cameras page:
If one or more of your camera angles still says Not Connected, proceed to Step 2.
Check 2. Check your WiFi Connection
If the WiFi at the top of your screen is red and not connected to the Sport Scope network, you need to go to your WiFi settings on the iPad and connect to the network.
If you do not see your WiFi network then see this article:
No Sport Scope/EDGE WiFi Network on iPad WiFi Page
Check 3. Force Close the Sport Scope App and Reopen
If the above steps still have not fixed the issue "force close" the Sport Scope app from the iPad and then reopen. Go back to the Cameras page and check if the status has changed.
How do I Force Close the App?
The above video shows both methods for force closing the Sport Scope app and reopening.
Option 1: Double tap the physical home button on the iPad
Option 2: Slowly drag up from the bottom of the screen and release
Check 4. Reboot Computer
If the above steps still have not fixed the issue next try restarting the power on either the Smart/Wireless Camera or Pressbox EDGE box computer:
Smart/Wireless Camera: Pull power cord and plug back in:
Pressbox EDGE Replay box: Pull power cord and plug back in:
Check 5a. Status is Endzone - Not Connected
Part 1: Check the Power to your Endzone EDGE Box or Smart/Wireless Camera
How do I check Endzone power?
If still experiencing endzone - Not Connected, check the power to your Smart/Wireless Camera or EDGE Box:
Smart/Wireless Camera: Make sure your power cord is plugged into the power port and the other end is plugged into the blue computer/power port on your battery.
EDGE Box: Make sure your power cord is plugged into the power port and the other end is plugged into the USB slot for EDGE Box on your network battery (your battery may look different):
MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS ON
Smart/Wireless Camera: (Your battery may look different than the example below). Look for the charge lights. If the battery is not on press the power button on the side and ensure the lights stay on:
EDGE Box: (Your battery may look different than the example below). Look for the screen to display a battery life %. If the EDGE Box does not have any power lights tap the USB power button on the side as shown below:
Part 2: Check Ethernet Connection/Replace Power Cord
How do I check the Ethernet Connection and/or Replace the Power Cord?
Smart/Wireless Camera: If the computer is getting power then you should see a flashing light on the Smart/Wireless Camera ethernet port.
If there is no light then there is a disconnect between your network connection on the ground and the computer or between the working battery and the computer . . .
Make sure the ethernet is plugged into the correct port in your POE injector. You may need to try replacing the ethernet cable with a different cable for testing.
You may also want to try a backup power USB cord to make sure that power is properly being transmitted from the battery to the computer:

Check 5b. Status is Pressbox - Not Connected
Part 1: Check the Power to your Pressbox EDGE Box
How do I check Pressbox power?
If still experiencing pressbox - Not Connected check the power to your EDGE Box:
Make sure your power cord is plugged into the power port and the other end is plugged into the power strip.
Part 2: Check Ethernet Connection/Replace Power Cord
How do I check the Ethernet Connection and/or Replace the Power Cord?
If the computer is getting power then you should see a flashing light on the EDGE Box ethernet port:
If there is no light, the EDGE box is not connecting to the network:
Make sure the Ethernet is plugged into the correct port on your router. You may need to try replacing the Ethernet cable with a different cable for testing
You may also want to try a backup power USB cord to make sure that power is properly being transmitted from the battery to the computer:
If all of your cameras are properly connected via Ethernet and Power, and you are still getting Not Connected move on to the next step.
Step 6. Check Bridge Antenna Connection
Make sure both your Pressbox Bridge and Endzone Bridge Antennas have all 6 lights:
- Power light
- MAIN light (flashing)
- 4 Link lights
What if I don't have all 6 lights?
- If ALL four of the Link Connectivity lights are not lit but power is solid and MAIN if flashing, this means that this bridge isn't communicating with the other(s).
- If the Pressbox Bridge is not on, the sideline and endzone Bridges will not connect. Ensure your Pressbox Bridge is powered first before powering the others.
- Make sure the bridges are visible to each other WITHOUT ANY OBSTRUCTIONS such as glass, metal, chain link fences, etc.
- If SOME of the Link Connectivity Lights are not lit, you simply will need to adjust the angle of your antenna.
- If you're at the Endzone bridge, make sure it is aimed up directly to the pressbox.
- However it is very easy to overshoot. When in doubt make the angler LOWER:
- However it is very easy to overshoot. When in doubt make the angler LOWER:
- If you're working with the Pressbox bridge, ensure it is aimed down, pointed in between the sideline and endzone bridges.
-
OBSTRUCTIONS WILL PREVENT A FULL CONNECTION - Make sure your pressbox bridge is NOT behind a glass window or too much inside a room.

- If you're at the Endzone bridge, make sure it is aimed up directly to the pressbox.
- If NONE of the lights are on for the pressbox bridge, make sure it is in the correct black Antenna port on the router. (If you have a black colored router, ensure the POE light is solid green). The same applies to the sideline and endzone bridges.
- Test with a different Ethernet cable. See below how to connect a different Ethernet cable:
- If NONE of the lights are on for the endzone bridge, make sure the network battery is on. The AC slider MUST be ON.
- You should see a battery percentage on the main screen and a solid green light next to the 3-prong AC power port.
