Sometimes, especially during practice, you don't want or need both angles of your system running. In these situations, what we recommend is setting up the system in what we call "Practice Mode." This is a minimal setup that reduces the system to it's bare essentials and makes it easier to setup and take down for practices and scrimmages.
What you'll need:
Your Endzone Tower and your Smart Camera Pan/Tilt Head (regardless of which version you have)
Pressbox hardcase and Pressbox iPad antenna (Your Router may look different)
Endzone battery
Steps:
Assemble the Smart Camera head to tower and plug in its cords like normal. (regardless of which version you have)
Connect the Pressbox Router power cord to the Endzone Battery. (No need to connect anything to an EDGE box if you have one).
Temporarily unscrew the suction cup mount from the Pressbox iPad antenna.
Connect the iPad antenna ethernet cable to one of the antenna ports on the router. Connect the short yellow ethernet cable from your Endzone Kit from the PoE Injector directly into any port of the router. The long blue ethernet cable goes to the Smart Camera Pan/Tilt Head. (Regardless of which router you have)
Note: if you are using the blue
pan/tilt head, rather than needing an injector you can simply plug the 30ft cable directly into the router
Use a Velcro strap to attach the iPad antenna to the tower. Make sure antenna ears are at a 45-degree angle. (Regardless of which tower you have)
You will connect to the Sport Scope Press Box Wifi connection on your iPad. Make sure you are within the iPad antenna’s range when using the system (approximately 15-20 feet).
