Warning: MDM Management Software
- Schools sometimes have software that is intended to keep kids out of trouble when using school iPads. While we completely understand this concern, Sport Scope equipment is used entirely offline, removing any risk of misuse.
- While these can sometimes include app permissions, it can also involve some restrictions regarding network traffic which can keep new games from being able to be created or shared with other iPads. We strongly recommend, if possible, that Sport Scope iPads do not have any software put on them from the school, and instead maybe forget Wifi passwords after they've been used to download the app.
- You can sometimes check to see if management software is in use by going to:
- Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and seeing if there's an entry there.
