When you get your camera you may need to change a few settings to make it work properly with your Sport Scope. Select your camera below:
Sony CX-405
Turn Off Power Save
Power Save turns the camera off after 5 minutes.
In the Setup menu:
- Select Setup
- Select Power Save
- Select Off
Set Record Quality to HD
- Select Image Quality/Size
- Select REC Mode
- Select High or Highest Quality
Sony AX-43
1. Use the touchscreen to access the menu
2. Select Image Quality/Size
3. Select File Format
4. Ensure the camera is set to AVCHD and not XAVC
5. Exit the menu
6. Next, re-enter the menu
7. This time, select Setup
8. Select CTRL FOR HDMI
9. Turn CTRL FOR HDMI Off
Go back in the menu by tapping the button in the top left
10. Turn off Power Save
Exit the menu and you should be good to go!
Panasonic HCV900
Open up the camera's viewfinder
Navigate to the menu icon
Go to Setup
Turn DATE/TIME ZOOM/REC DISPLAY and O.I.S. LOCK DISPLAY off
Scroll down and turn EXT. DISPLAY, ECONOMY (BATT), and ECONOMY (AC) all off
Keep Scrolling Down and turn REC/PAUSE ALERT on
Exit the menu and you should be good to go!
