Steps for using the Sport Scope Custom Camera:
|
|
1. If the camera is not already attached to the top plate simply position the bottom threaded hole to the plate dial screw-thread and screw the thread into the bottom of the camera from underneath the plate until secured.
Custom Camera Connections:
2. Connect USB-C cord from USB-C port on custom camera to the open USB port on the bottom of the wireless head computer
3. Connect HDMI cable from port on custom camera to "CONNECT CAMERA" port on Wireless Camera head computer:
4. Connect power cord from power port on camera to the front facing battery labeled "Camera" in white.
(All other connections to the Wireless Camera head are as normal and explained in more detail in the corresponding Tutorials for your system).
5. You can adjust the video quality settings of the camera from the Cameras page:
- Change the resolution from 720 to 1080. You MUST restart the camera for the resolution change to take effect.
(You may also need to restart the computer to see the change take effect on the Cameras page).
- Change the bitrate. Be sure to select the "Save" button on the bottom right corner. Increasing the bitrate will increase the video quality but you may experience some delay in the live video feed controls with an increased bitrate.
The highest bitrate option is 8 MB.
6. Attach the Rain Gear bag:
- Place the large opening over the entire Wireless Camera and tighten the bungee cord.
- Leave Velcro opening closed and front-facing.
- Place the small opening around the lens hood and tighten the bungee cord (You may need to slide the camera forward on the top plate).
- Make sure all cables are covered. The blue Ethernet cable will be exposed down the pole.
